Tahany Alsabahi

Founding Student Member

Tahany Alsabahi is a second-year law student at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. Tahany's research focuses on diversity initiatives at large corporations and general counsel recruitment efforts. Tahany managed the University of Michigan's (U-M) Inclusive Campus Corps and has six years of experience facilitating inter- and intra-group dialogues on various issues of diversity and inclusion. Her extensive work in intergroup dialogue, conflict resolution, and diversity and inclusion led her to law school, where she hopes to use her skills to explore mediation and employment law. 

 

Xiaochen Chen

Founding Student Member

Xiaochen Chen is a rising 2L at USC Gould School of Law. Xiaochen is from Sydney, Australia, and moved to the U.S. in 2014 to attend college at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. After graduating magna cum laude with a BA in Music Performance (Piano) and Film Studies, Xiaochen worked as a law clerk for an Atlanta-based real estate and business litigation firm to gain practical experience and knowledge before entering law school. At Gould, Xiaochen serves as co-Alumni Relations Chair for APALSA, Events Chair for Family Law Society, and staffer for the Interdisciplinary Law Journal. She is also a legal extern at J2 Global, Inc. and a Research Assistant for Professor Estrich.

 

Chief Coleman

Founding Student Member

Chief attended Bucknell University where he double majored in Philosophy and Political Science. At Bucknell, Chief was a member of the Division 1 water polo team, a trip leader for the outdoor education program, and the Student Coordinator for the Office of Admissions.  He also spent a semester abroad in Durban, South Africa, and had the honor of being his class’ Student Commencement Speaker.  

At USC, Chief is President of the Barbara Bice Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) and Co-Professional Development Chair for First Generation Professionals (FGP).  During his 1L summer, Chief worked as a litigation summer associate at Cooley LLP. With his downtime, Chief enjoys playing water polo, camping, and fighting for economic inclusion.

 

Pablo Aabir Das

Founding Student Member

Pablo Das graduated from Boston University Pardee School of Global Studies in 2016 and is currently a second-year law student at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. Pablo focuses on cultivating the Jane Bolin Project's Advisory Board as well as constructing a comprehensive framework for reporting and tracking the Jane Bolin Project's progress and impact. 

 

Meghann Lamb

Founding Student Member

Meghann is a Jane Bolin Project research assistant focused on the project's formation and status as a student organization. Meghann graduated with her B.A. summa cum laude from UCLA in 2018. As a rising 2L at USC Gould School of Law, she is the Education and Outreach Chair for the Student Bar Association’s Sexual Assault Awareness Committee as well as the Treasurer of the Family Law Society. She is also a staff member for the Southern California Law Review. After law school, she hopes to pursue a career in employment law.

 

Eliot X. Murphy

Founding Student Member

Eliot Murphy is a second-year law student at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law who holds a Bachelor's of Science in Communications from the University of Miami.  Eliot's research focuses include general counsel, executive officer, and board diversity at Fortune 500 companies, corporate diversity and inclusion initiatives, American workforce demographics, and community policing reform.  He has volunteered his time to perform legal work for organizations including the Justice Collaborative, L.A. Court Watch, Mental Health Advocacy Services, and the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles Expungement Clinic.
